Nicholas Courdy received his BFA in Fine Art and continued to explore his craft through artist residencies in both the United States and Lebanon. His imaginative works fuse past and present art forms to create a contemporary narrative. Sourcing heavily from the public domain, Nic explores themes of silent collaboration, compilation aesthetics, modern social constructs, the abundance of content availability, and our ever-evolving relationship to our digital selves.
Nic has exhibited works in New York City, London, Dubai, Istanbul, Beirut, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Lisbon among others – and has collaborated with fashion brand campaigns including Gucci, Delvaux, and Lane Crawford. His work invites viewers to reflect on how the digital world influences our self-perceptions, our relationships on and off-line, and the impacts to the arc of our story.
