Adib Rashid

Adib is the Executive Director of the recently inaugurated Dubai Center for Family Businesses with a core mission of fostering the enduring prosperity and sustainability of family enterprises in Dubai, while nurturing the growth of the next generation of family business leaders.

With a career spanning over 25 years, Adib boasts extensive expertise in business advisory. A substantial portion of his career, spanning two decades working at prominent big 4 firms. During this period, he provided invaluable support and counsel to numerous families, aiding them in the formulation of robust governance structures, facilitating seamless succession planning, and establishing their family offices.

Adib's work extends well beyond Dubai's borders, as he has engaged extensively with families both locally and globally. He is an active participant in regional and international Family Business forums, actively contributing to the exchange of knowledge and best practices. Furthermore, he has garnered international recognition by being elected as a board member of the esteemed Family Firm Institute between 2014 and 2018.

As a testament to his commitment to excellence in the field, he was awarded the status of a Fellow at the Family Firm Institute in addition to acquiring advanced certificates in family business and family wealth advisory, complementing his array of professional qualifications.
