Miniature Painting with Louis Vuitton - VIP
A unique and colourful experience led by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton: Miniature Painting
We invite you to unleash your creativity with the Manufacture’s artisans while being introduced to the art of miniature painting. This workshop will be focus on the dial of one of the Maison’s most iconic watches: the Louis Vuitton Escale Worldtime.
Miniature painting is a fusion of technical skills and artistic expression that is used to create patterns of an extreme precision on dials. La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton has been using this technique since 2014, starting with the creation of the Escale Worldtime, whose dial requires over 40 hours of work.
To achieve a truly striking result, the Manufacture’s artisans apply the paint delicately, colour by colour. Each layer of paint is meticulously applied with a marten hair brush, demanding exceptional precision and passion. The dial is then carefully dried in an oven heated to 100°C, before the perfect finish is achieved.
